Double, double, toil and trouble. Fires burn and cauldrons bubble. Tonight we find ourselves in the depths of Hogwarts dungeons, mixing potions so powerful even the Half Blood Prince himself would be impressed.

This year, everyone at Hogwarts needs a stiffer drink than usual. With all that’s going on in the real world, it’s almost like Voldemort is back…again, again.

A strong combination of flavors, this is the kind of drink I imagine Professor Snape would sneak for himself behind the scenes.

With a sharp mix of hard liquors balanced with sweet flavors – it only takes a little bit of magic to mix up this cocktail. When it’s ghoulishly green, you’ll know it’s ready.

“I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death.”

Now I’m not saying this potion is powerful enough to cure any diseases; however, it might just help you forget about them for awhile.

For this potion…er…cocktail, you’ll need your favorite clear rum (I used Bacardi) and a strong bourbon whiskey. These liquors mixed with sweet and sour ingredients like pinapple juice and limeade can cast a spell over your senses.

Sour with a bit of bite at the end, this delicious drink is undoubtedly a favorite of potion of Dumbledore’s, who would probably sip it down while popping off memories into the pensive.

Harry Potter Week 2020 is just beginning! Don’t forget to check back every day from now until July 31st to celebrate the magical universe that helped define a generation.
