Let’s Cook

First things first, preheat your oven to 350°F. Now, grab those biscuit cans and pop them open. Cut each biscuit into quarters—this is going to form the base of our bubble pizza.

Butter Mixture

In a small bowl, mix together your melted butter, parsley, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes. This buttery blend is going to make our biscuits extra tasty.

Assembling the Casserole

Take your baking dish and spread pizza sauce all over the bottom. Next, layer on your pepperoni. Now, arrange those biscuit quarters on top of the pepperoni in a single layer. Pour the butter mixture over the biscuits, and use a basting brush to coat them evenly. Trust me, this step makes all the difference!

Adding Toppings

Next up, sprinkle on the chopped red onion, crumbled sausage, and fresh basil. Top it all off with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover the dish lightly with foil and bake for 20-30 minutes.

Baking to Perfection

After 20-30 minutes, take off the foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Check to see if the center is puffed up and golden brown. If it’s not quite there, keep baking in five-minute increments until it is. You want that center to be firm and beautifully golden.

Finishing Touches

Once it’s done, take it out of the oven and top with more parsley, basil, red pepper flakes, and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle on some balsamic vinegar and a little Sriracha if you like it spicy. Enjoy your bubble pizza masterpiece!

Tips for Bubble Pizza Success

  • Check Your Biscuits: If the biscuits aren’t fully cooked in the center, keep baking in five-minute increments. Patience pays off!
  • Customize Toppings: Feel free to add your favorite toppings. Mushrooms, olives, or bell peppers would be fantastic.
  • Butter Mixture: Ensure you evenly coat the biscuits with the butter mixture. It helps them bake up golden and delicious.
  • Foil Cover: Covering with foil initially prevents the top from burning before the center is cooked.
  • Serve Hot: This dish is best enjoyed hot and fresh from the oven. The cheese will be perfectly melty, and the biscuits will be fluffy.
