Even more Harry Potter inspired-recipes! It’s well known throughout the books that Ron Weasley has a sweet tooth – and ice cream treats are no exception.

""/

Knickerbocker glories are a traditional treat in Britain – and while they might also be a Muggle concoction (as seen in the first book on Harry’s trip to the zoo, where he is allowed to finish Dudley’s knickerbocker glory because it didn’t have enough ice cream on top), I’d still like to think that witches and wizards adapted the dessert with their own magical properties.

""/

Ron ends up marrying Hermione, so I think it’s especially likely as Hermione is Muggle-born that Ron took a particular liking to this dessert – mostly because it is insanely easy to make any which way you want.

""/

These knickerbocker glories can be made with a flick of the wrist – er… wand. There is no actual factual recipe – you measure this recipe with your heart. Plus, it’s also well known that Ron wasn’t especially talented at potions, so the less baking involved, the better.

""/

Topped with a simple raspberry and lingonberry coulis, pistacchios and clotted cream (or whipped cream, for the American Muggles here), knickerbocker glories are also packed full of fresh fruit and of course ICE CREAM!

""/

If you’re a Muggle, this ice cream is a great way to reach back to your magical roots – as it’s a dish enjoyed by witches and wizards alike!
