I promise it&#8217;s impossible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most requested dishes from this movie is one of the first Remy makes in the actual kitchen at Gusteau&#8217;s &#8211; a soup that Linguini has messed up and Remy fixes with a few simple additions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"width:100%;height:0;padding-bottom:41%;position:relative;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/wNDa1OZtvl6Fi\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" style=\"position:absolute\" frameBorder=\"0\" class=\"giphy-embed\" allowFullScreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s after Linguini catches Remy prepping the soup &#8211; and after said soup is served to a customer who turns out to be a food critic who loves it &#8211; that the two team up and discover that Remy can control Linguini&#8217;s movements by tugging on his hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"width:100%;height:0;padding-bottom:59%;position:relative;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/giphy.com\/embed\/cJeMxgn9kUIG4\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" style=\"position:absolute\" frameBorder=\"0\" class=\"giphy-embed\" allowFullScreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t yet watched <em>Ratatouille<\/em>, I highly recommend you check it out! Unbeknownst to him, Remy is watching from above and having a minor panic attack as Linguini addes in mystery ingredients that obviously are ruining the soup. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remy falls though the restaurant&#8217;s ceiling and after narrowly escaping from being caught, he finds himself near the soup disaster. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of completing his escape, he decides to attempt to fix the soup &#8211; which is how Linguini spots him. and keep in mind we are working with animated physics when it comes to making this soup so we will need to adjust the amounts and cook time to make the soup delicious in real life too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s what I think was in the soup:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>vegetable broth<\/strong> &#8211; the soup is first an orange-ish red color when first seen in the movie, which is likely a vegetable based broth based on the color<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>potatoes<\/strong> &#8211; adds flavor and texture to the soup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>bay leaves<\/strong> &#8211; deepens the overall flavor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>cracked pepper<\/strong> &#8211; for a zesty undertone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>white wine<\/strong> &#8211; adds acidity and slight sweetness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>onions<\/strong> &#8211; to pump up the flavor of the soup <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>mushrooms<\/strong> &#8211; help to mellow out the onion flavor and add texture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>garlic<\/strong> &#8211; for savory flavor and aromatics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>heavy cream<\/strong> &#8211; to pull all the flavors together with the addition of fat and cream<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>leek<\/strong> &#8211; adds color, flavor and crunch to the soup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>salt<\/strong> &#8211; to boost the overall flavor and enhance the sweet undernotes of the soup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>parsley, chives, thyme &amp; marjoram<\/strong> &#8211; fresh herbs bundled together to make an aromatic and flavorful soup<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>gruyere cheese &amp;
