Tongue Tying Lemon Twist | Harry Potter Inspired Cocktail

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lemon rinds removed & twisted; juice reserved
  • 1 oz sour mix
  • 2 ox lemon vodka
  • 11 oz lemonade chilled
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 8 oz tonic water chilled

Instructions
 

  • Use a potato peeler to remove the skin from the lemon. Slice into thin strips and twist. Chill to hold their shape. Juice the lemon and reserve the juice.
  • OPTIONAL: Make a simple syrup and dip in the rims of the glasses and let the excess drip off. Then dip the glasses onto a plate with sugar crystals.
  • In a cocktail mixer with ice, combine the sour mix, vodka, triple sec and lime juice. Shake until chilled.
  • Pour the chilled mix between two glasses. Top with lemonade and tonic water and the twisted rinds. Add a cube of dry ice (optional). Enjoy!
