Instructions
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the ghee/butter to form a sticky marinade.
Gently pull the skin away from the meat and slide 3 tablespoons of butter under the skin.
Pour the marinade over the turkey legs and chill for at least 1 hour or overnight. Remember to reserve 3 tablespoons of marinade for basting.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Arrange vegetables in a roasting pan and place the turkey legs side-by-side on top of the veggies. Cover the pan and roast for 20 minutes.
Uncover the turkey legs and spread the remaining marinade over the tops of each leg. Then, brush the melted ghee over the legs.
Return the pan to the oven and continue cooking for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the legs are cooked through and no longer pink.
Serve the Fire Nation Turkey Legs alongside a cup of jasmine tea, Zuko's honor, and enjoy!
