Ingredients
  

  • 3 jalapeno
  • 3 strips bacon sliced in half
  • 6 slices halloumi cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the broiler. Cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the stems and seeds.
  • Slice the halloumi into 1/8 - 1/4 inch thick pieces. Place a slice of halloumi in the center of each jalapeño half.
  • Wrap each jalapeño half with a piece of bacon, ensuring the end of the bacon is secured on the underside of the jalapeño.
  • Arrange the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on a broiling pan about 4-5 inches from the broiler's heat source.
  • Broil until the bacon becomes crisp and golden, and the halloumi is golden brown and appears to "sweat" at the edges.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
